Hi to all. I will begin to see people in my office as of May 27 th .
I will continue the Monday, Wednesday, Friday schedule and do all I can to have a safe space, but am aware of the highly contagious and dangerous nature of COVID 19. Some of the safety measures I will be taking include; Having people wait in the car rather than the waiting room. We will be able to charge your card without you having to touch anything. My staff and I will be masked and I am asking you to wear a mask as well. I will have hand sanitizer available and also the ability to wash hands with soap and water. I will cleanse surfaces after each patient as well as the treatment table itself. We will be checking for fevers and ask that if you are feeling ill with a febrile fever type illness to please use the option of a Zoom meeting and herbal intervention rather than in person.
Physical contact is necessary for pulse taking, acupuncture, cupping, moxa, and guasha so all of these activities entail greater risk of viral transmission. If you are in a high-risk group consider this, and choose the option of no contact Zoom meetings for herb consultation.
I am taking preventative herbs and have no signs or symptoms of a febrile disease but have not been tested for Covid 19.
Appointments can be made on line at KathleenLeavy.com , or call the Office 352- 379-4618, or email me at Kathleen.leavy@gmail.com Please let me know if this appointment will be in person or Zoom and I will schedule a Zoom meeting and email an invite.
Hopefully, this move toward opening up our city, state, and country is successful and doesn’t drastically increase infection rates. If it becomes obvious that this attempt to open up business is too early and spreading disease, I will be available thru Zoom. I have spent this downtime to produce plenty of the antiviral tinctures and cough syrups to dispense.
